The approach
Getty Images has clients with an insatiable need for fresh, professional footage for use in marketing and productions globally. The partnership has produced hundreds of uploads to the Getty Images platform thus far and we expect a positive outcome from our first competition, “Wonderlust” which will be included in our flagship London 2015 event. This ongoing partnership required that creative briefs were updated every few months and tailored to research-driven insights and keywords that consumers were looking for on Getty Images.

The Results
Thousands of licensable content available on the Getty platform - generating a consistant new stream of revenue
Allowed young filmmakers access to a new platform to expand their reach - incentivizing them to upload and also get paid for unused footage
Led to an expansion of the program which Getty Images still uses today with specific briefs developed based on insight on ‘Search’ and corporate needs coming up.
