GIVING THE KIDS OF CHLA A REASON TO SMILE WITH THE LA KINGS

THE APPROACH
Kids are natural storytellers and I really liked the series “Drunk History”. We wanted to celebrate our talent (and former CHLA patients) by asking them to imagine what a day with their favourite LA King would be. We then partnered with Warm&Fuzzy to bring these stories to life.
To optimize the series launch, we developed GIFs and cut-downs to optimize our social strategy and create more sharable moments.
The Result
+1 million views across Youtube and Instagram
Kids attended the game on Marvel Night and see there stories on the jumbotrons
Series extended another year (~$200K revenue)

THE APPROACH
What better way to get the kids involved with the LA Kings than to hire them for a day to take on the roles of LA Kings personalities? We found three amazing kids who were up for the challenge and brought them into the Game Day experience by pairing them with our broadcast team to show them what it means to be a part of the team.
